Winter Mountaineering in the Little Dolomites: Technical Climbs on Challenging Vaji
In the Piccole Dolomiti , the term vajo indicates those narrow gullies that wind between the steep rock faces. This experience is aimed at those who want to tackle a challenging vajo , with sections of vertical mixed and technical terrain . Among the possible climbs are the Super Mosca, the Intramosca, the Vajo Nord and the Invisibile , itineraries that require excellent mastery of progression on ice and snow.
The excursion is suitable for expert mountaineers , with solid experience in the use of the ice axe and crampons , including the piolet-traction technique, and who want to test themselves on multi-pitch routes in a winter environment .
The final itinerary will be chosen one or two days before , based on snow and weather conditions, to ensure safety and the best possible experience.
