Monte Castello di Gaino , above Toscolano Maderno, offers an itinerary that combines panoramic paths, climbing sections and exposed ridges.
After crossing Gaino and following the signs for Agriturismo Castello and the rock gym, park near the marked path. A short walk takes you to the start of the route, marked by a red "V" on the rock.
The route begins with a vertical section (III+), followed by a more gradual climb on inclined slabs. After passing a panoramic saddle, you come across a boulder that offers a technical variant (grade V), which can be avoided by going around it on the right.
The last stretch follows a short but exposed ridge, with a view of Lake Garda, until reaching the summit (866 m).
