Marmolada – Ferrata Eterna, A Challenging Ascent on the Queen of the Dolomites

A spectacular and technical route, perfect for those who want to challenge themselves on one of the most panoramic ferratas of Marmolada. With 800 meters of elevation, the Ferrata Eterna is a difficult itinerary that requires excellent physical fitness and endurance to tackle the vertical sections and exposure at high altitude. The route offers an exciting experience, with incredible views of the surrounding Dolomites.

Duration: 4-6 hours, for a must-try alpine challenge.

Tackling this ferrata with a Certified Alpine Guide ensures safety in the most exposed sections and provides essential support for managing effort along the way.

    Can I climb a via ferrata even if I suffer from vertigo and am afraid of heights?

    Generally, trust in the mountain guide and in the technical material used mitigates the fear of heights and voids, however in case of obvious vertigo it is perhaps better to focus on easier activities.

    Yes, we will descend by cable car to Malga Ciapela, then we will return to the pass with a second car left earlier.
