Lake Garda - Manolo Dihedral

Lake Garda - Manolo Dihedral

In winter, Manolo often hung out in the Sarca Valley and along its sunny walls, season after season, he traced itineraries that have become great classics of mountaineering and climbing.
The Diedro Manolo is one of these, a classic route not to be underestimated which alternates dihedrals, chimneys and slabs in rapid succession, satisfying even the most demanding climber.

The climb is never trivial and always sustained, it requires good foot technique and good basic physical preparation.

A real must in the valley that cannot be missing from the curriculum of any good mountaineer!

Requests?

I have never climbed a route, can I climb a multi-pitch route as my first experience?

Yes, there are many easy routes to approach. Usually, however, it is required to have already climbed some via ferrata or to have already climbed at a cliff.

I would like you to accompany me on a long route. What is the minimum grade required?

There are some easy routes, not too vertical, that are suitable as a first experience on long routes. The minimum required grade is 4C-5A.

I've been climbing at the crag for a while now, can I try to tackle a multi-pitch route?

Of course, if you already climb on a cliff you will make better use of the day to learn the safety maneuvers well.

How many people can participate?

To climb a multi-pitch route the maximum number of clients is two. If there are more than two of you, you can organize with more Alpine Guides

How do you behave in case of bad weather?

If the Alpine Guide deems that the conditions are adverse, he can cancel or postpone the excursion. In case of cancellation by the Alpine Guide, any deposit will be fully refunded or, in agreement with the client, retained for a possible other date.
